Symptom

When trying to make a SIP call in Playground, you get an error "Failed to dial endpoint".

Resolution

Check the required SIP URI field and confirm that you have the correct field format and value.

The SIP URI format is sip:<user>@<host> where the user is the phone number and the host is the SIP domain. 

For example sip:12345678900@sip.nexmo.com

Cause

Playground is unable to dial the SIP call due to the incorrect format of the SIP URI.
